from Treehugger. Cycling in parks?
I actually kinda thought this was a no brainier yes answer. apparently not so fast, that's what I get for living in the UK for the past 6 months. Parks are a safe place for people of all ages to both cycle and walk, its a shame that apparently so many make it impossible (well the sign says so at least) to cycle through. The new Greenways movement, especially in NYC is certainly maximising the use of a mixed use, pedestrian, cyclist, wheelchair accessible green park space that allows for the safety of all users. Hop on over to TreeHugger if you want to comment or read a bit more on it, or make a note here, good idea? thoughts?
